The Airport Bowl is one of the oldest and largest bowling centres in the country – first opening it’s doors in 1962! With 36 lanes we are one of the biggest centres in the country which means we can cater for all occasions whether corporate, team training, birthday parties or just a night out with your friends and family.

We are an independent bowling centre which means that we aim to establish better customer relations our customers are valuable to us! We like to think we are good listeners so when you have an opinion we want to know, so we can act on it.

We pride ourselves on being a traditional centre, we have lots of leagues and tournaments on throughout the year including the London International held in July and August every year which sees bowlers from all over Europe coming to the centre to compete for cash prizes and the honour of being able to take home the winners trophy.

What food and drink is available?
We serve lots of tasty food at our Barcelos Flamed Grilled Chicken restaurant – take a look at the online menu to see what you fancy. Adjoining Barcelos is our fully licensed Bowlennium Bar which can provide a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Both the restaurant and bar are open until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.
How many turns do I get?
Every game of bowling is made up of 10 frames. In each frame, the players get two balls, unless you knock all the pins down on your first ball, this is called a Strike!
I really enjoy bowling and would like to take it up more seriously, what options are available to me?
For those of you aged 3-21 years old we have our award winning Youth Bowling Club. You can find out more information on the Airport YBC page here. For you adult bowlers we have a variety of leagues running throughout the week on our League & Tournament News page. Why not pop down to the centre when one of the leagues is on, speak to a member of the league committee and see if there is a spare slot in one of the teams.

What shoe sizes are available?
We provide all shoes sizes for bowling from a child’s size 6 up to an adult size 15, and shoe hire is included in your game price, so you don’t have to worry about that.

What’s the age of a junior?
Anyone aged 15 and under is classed as a junior at Airport Bowl.
How many people can you fit on a lane?
For the ultimate bowling experience and to give your game a real sense of competition, we recommend six people per lane. But of course, you can have just as much fun with two or three people. Part of a bigger group? We can accommodate up to a maximum of eight people per lane.

Yes, by calling the centre on 0208 7597246, we recommend that you book this way as our bookings email is not constantly monitored.
